A long way round to the Drunken Duck

Leaving the cottage, turn right, walk to the end of the lane, turn left (the direct route is right - you'll probably come back that way), walk to the main road and then follow the footpath along the side of the road and turn into the first lane on the right, to Knipe Fold. Turn right and follow the lane to Sunny Brow and turn left onto the footpath which runs along the valley. When you hit the lane, turn right and follow it up to the pub.
